For the past two weeks, mommy has been busy looking for the activities that can keep our little girl occupied in the daytime. Our little girl likes music, singing and dancing, so mommy has to keep that in mind in looking for activities that are suitable for her.
Finally, mommy has finalized on her daily schedule. Almost all her activities will take place in the morning so as not to disrupt her nap time in afternoon. Our little girl will go to 'Babygym' on every Monday, Tuesday and Friday morning where she can wander around safely in a toddler-friendly environment.
Besides that, there is usually a 20-25 minute circletime for her to sing songs and play with bubbles, games and parachute with other kids.
On Tuesday afternoon, Mommy is thinking of bringing her to 'Tiny waves' where she can swim and play with the water in a heated pool. With a heated pool, she will be able to continue to enjoy the pool even when the weather turns colder in the coming fall and winter.
On Wednesday morning, mommy will bring her to 'Baby Bounce' in the library for storytime. Mommy likes the 'Baby Bounce' because the stories are chosen specially for toddlers and with a theme in mind every week. Last week, the storyteller talked about 'pumpkin' because there are lots of pumpkins in the stores now since Halloween is coming soon. Of course, to keep the toddlers interested, there is also singing and a chance for them to play with some musical instruments.
On Thursday morning, she will go for the 'MusicTogether Class' in Live Oak Recreation Centre. There, we will sit in a circle and teacher Jen will lead us through the singing and dancing. The aim of this lesson is premised on the idea that all of us have the natural inclination to music.

Sheri is so fortunate to have a mum like you, who put in so much effort in giving her the best. I think you are really making full use of your status as a stay home mum. Mums are still the best care givers and take care not just the physical part but also make sure the daily activities can be mind stimulating... something I can't ensure for Althan :(
I agree fully that moms are the best caregivers. I'm trying my best to give her what I can now. I'm not too sure if I'm able to commit to such an extent of I have to go back to work in the future. Anyway, she seems to react positively to the classes. She is more vocal nowadays and she hums the songs that we sing during the classes at home. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the classes.
