Playground at Live Oak

Unlike in the suburbs, it can be difficult to find a playground in a city. Fortunately, the apartment manager was very helpful in directing us to this playground, which is about 15 minutes walk away from our apartment. Of course, mommy and daddy could not wait to check it out.

It was the first time that our little girl sat on a see-saw. She seems to enjoy it very much.

How far are you staying from UC Berkeley campus? The apt up the hillside area at the north has very good scenery.

It may be quite a culture shock for you all if you go to explore the south side of the campus. Lots of homeless, weird looking people around...but that's also what makes up the colorful life there.

I am so excited about you guys being there now coz reading your blog now will bring back so many memories for me.

Enjoy your stay there!

We are staying in the University Park Apartments which is on the north side. Maw Lin did tell me about the homeless people here, so I'm mentally prepared. So far, it's not too bad. There are not too many outside the apartment. I'm fine with it as long as they are not malicious. I guess this is part and parcel of city living. Yes, we did go up the hill on last weekend. Hee! Hee! Catch my next post which is still under construction.
