Look! I can lift up my head now when mummy and daddy put me on my tummy.

Last Sunday, we were elated to see that baby Sheri was able to lift up her head at 45 degrees while on tummy. It came as a pleasant surprise to us because as far as we can remember, she was still struggling to lift up her head one week ago when we put her on her tummy. Baby Sheri has certainly made good progress in a week. Her arms are also much stronger now as she can use it to push herself up and provide support for her body weight. Well done, baby Sheri ! You deserve a big kiss from mummy and daddy!

As a stay-at-home, you get to spend more time with your child. It may not mean much to you but it means alot to them. I did not appreciate this fact until I have Sheri. Even though she enjoys playing with her toys, you can feel that she enjoys playing with them more when you sit beside her. Having said that, it's important for a stay-at-home to have some personal time too. Now that Sheri is sleeping throughout the night, I do not have to nap with her when she sleeps in the day. So, I have more time for myself. It's important to take a break during the weekends too just like when you are working. So, I will usually let my hubby take charge of Sheri during the weekends while I drive out to do some shopping myself.
